Custom Your Jewelry Procedures

From design concepts to mass production, Joychicco handles the entire workflow in-house.

Stainless Steel Jewelry
Silver & Copper Jewelry
Raw Material Selection
We use high-quality, medical-grade 316L stainless steel for its exceptional corrosion resistance and skin safety. Every batch of raw material undergoes rigorous testing to ensure compliance with RoHS, REACH, and SGS or Intertek certifications, ensuring the highest standards for durability and safety.
Design & 3D Modeling
Design & 3D Modeling Our designers work closely with market trends and customer requirements to craft jewelry concepts. Detailed 2D technical drawings and 3D CAD models are created, serving as the blueprint for mold making, CNC machining, and mass production.
Cutting, Turning, and Casting
Depending on the design complexity, various techniques are employed. Laser cutting is used for flat shapes, turning for round parts, and casting for intricate three-dimensional designs. These methods lay the foundation for the jewelry’s final form.
Tumbling (Surface Smoothing)
Once the blanks are formed, they undergo tumbling in machines with abrasive media to smooth edges, remove burrs, and prepare surfaces. This stage helps to achieve a cleaner, more refined finish before the next steps.
CNC Machining
Using advanced CNC technology, we achieve precise textures, patterns, and structural details with an accuracy of ±0.01 mm. This step ensures that every piece is customized with the highest level of craftsmanship and precision.
Multi-stage Polishing
Before polishing, the jewelry pieces are sorted and arranged based on their shape and polishing needs. This ensures uniform results and protects the surface from any potential damage during the polishing process. The polishing step refines the design for a flawless finish. Our techniques are ideal for high-end or intricate designs, ensuring a smooth, pristine surface.
Ultrasonic Cleaning
After polishing, jewelry undergoes ultrasonic or chemical cleaning to remove any residues, oils, or polishing compounds. This step guarantees a clean surface before proceeding to the next stages of finishing and engraving.
Laser Logo Making
Laser Logo Making Our high-precision laser engraving technology is used to add logos, text, serial numbers, or QR codes onto the surface of the jewelry. This permanent, non-contact method ensures durability and clarity of the design markings.
Spot Welding
Spot welding is employed to attach components like pendant loops, earring posts, and clasps. After welding, the areas are re-finished to ensure smooth, seamless joints that enhance both functionality and aesthetics.
Surface Treatment
Jewelry is given a PVD coating of precious metals such as gold, silver, or rose gold to improve both the appearance and corrosion resistance. The surface is meticulously prepared before electroplating to ensure a durable and beautiful finish.
Design & 3D Modeling
Our designers create detailed sketches and translate them into precise 3D CAD models using professional jewelry software such as Rhino and Matrix. These models serve as the blueprint for all subsequent production steps, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client specifications.
Wax Model Creation
High-precision 3D printers or traditional molds are used to create wax models from the CAD designs. For large-scale production, a master silver model is made and used to produce rubber molds. Liquid wax is then poured into the molds and cooled to replicate multiple wax models for casting.
Wax Setting
Individual gemstones or decorative elements are carefully embedded into the wax models, ensuring accurate placement and alignment for the final casting.
Wax Tree Assembly
Workers assemble dozens to hundreds of wax models onto a central wax sprue, forming a “wax tree.” This configuration allows multiple pieces to be cast simultaneously, optimizing production efficiency.
Investing (Plaster Casting)
Pouring Plaster: The wax tree is placed inside a steel cylinder, then vacuum-treated plaster slurry is poured to fully encase the wax models without air bubbles. Curing: The plaster is left to harden completely.
Burnout / Dewaxing
High-Temperature Wax Removal: The hardened plaster mold is heated in a kiln, typically exceeding 700°C. Forming the Cavity: At high temperatures, the internal wax tree melts away or evaporates completely, leaving a cavity that perfectly matches the shape of the ring.
Melting & Casting
Alloy Preparation: 925 silver material (92.5% pure silver mixed with 7.5% copper and other anti-oxidation alloys to increase hardness) is prepared. Casting: The silver alloy is heated to its melting point (around 900°C) to become liquid. Using vacuum or centrifugal casting machines, the molten metal is rapidly injected into the high-temperature plaster mold cavities, filling every detail.
Shaking Out
The plaster mold is broken to reveal the raw cast jewelry, ready for further finishing.
Filing & Rough Polishing
After cutting off the sprues, the connection points may have protrusions, and the surface may be rough. Workers use files, sandpaper, and polishing machines to trim the sprues, polish the inner and outer rings, remove sand holes and burrs, and restore the perfect curvature of the ring.
Plating / Surface Treatment
Since 925 silver can oxidize and darken in air, finished silver jewelry is usually plated. Common treatments include rhodium or platinum plating, which greatly enhances shine and forms a protective layer, making the jewelry resistant to tarnishing and scratches.
